Frequently Asked Questions

Answers To Common Questions

Can I dive without a  certification?

You can do a “My First Dive”, which is a Discover Scuba Diving Program. You will receive a theory briefing and important skills will be explained. The activity is performed hand-in-hand with a dive instructor. You need at least an ‘Open Water Diver’ certification for the other guided dives.

What should I bring for a dive trip?

Bring your swimwear, towel, sunshirt, and cap. Remember that boats get wet, so please try to bring minimal non-essential personal items.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my dive?

We adhere to the Harbor Master’s recommendations. If the port is open and conditions are safe, we will dive.

Are there any medical conditions that can prevent me from diving?

Conditions such as asthma, heart issues, or epilepsy may require a doctor’s approval.

What are the best dive sites in this area?

Different divers like different things. We choose our dive sites based on weather conditions and we also consider your skill level and interests.

Can I fly right after diving? What is the protocol?

It is advised to wait before flying after scuba diving to reduce the risk of decompression sickness (DCS). The recommended protocol is as follows:

  • If you completed a single dive, wait at least 12 hours before flying.

  • If you completed multiple dives, or have been diving for several days in a row, wait at least 24 hours before flying.
